Hello Neighbors,

I am excited to announce that I am seeking a second term as your elected Sheriff of Lyon County.  It has been an honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Lyon County for the past four years as your Sheriff.  As a graduate of Minneota High School, a SMSU alum, Marshall resident, and 24-year veteran of the Sheriff's Office, I am proud to call Lyon County home.

The Sheriff's Office has had a very successful four years in which we can build on moving into the next several years.  During the past four years we have seen a reduction in team member turn over, received over $200,000 in grants to fund projects and equipment, partnered with great agencies to provide co-responder and mental health professional help to those we serve, and provide numerous community outreach services.

I have worked hard, and prided myself in serving all citizens of Lyon County with a Sheriff's Office that is fiscally responsible, a leader in technology, with highly-trained, professional staff, and bases our response to you based on state law and the needs of OUR community.

Over the course of the next several months I look forward to talking with many of you and answering any questions that you might have.
